Mack Glass Community is a 501c3 non-profit organization focused on solving the glass recycling problem through practical and economical solutions, public education, and creative, public art projects. As part of our outreach programing, we work with school and non-profit organizations to offer glassblowing workshops for ages 10 and up.
Jason has been working with glass since 2001 when he took a glass bead making class with his mom at age 17. In 2007, Jason graduated from Illinois State University with a BS in studio art with a focus in glassblowing. Since then, he has created a style and method of building large, on-site steel and glass sculptures using a mobile glass

In 2007, Jason graduated from Illinois State University with a BS in studio art with a focus in glassblowing. Since then, he has created a style and method of building large, on-site steel and glass sculptures using a mobile glass furnace he designed and built in his garage. Mack Glass Community arose from his passion for teaching and creating a sustainable future. He currently resides in Champaign, IL with his Fiance, Macy, and two kids.

Rebecca has owned and operated Ippatsu Salon in Champaign, IL for just over 20 years. She is an active member in the community and contributes her time and money to many great causes. She and her wife, Laura, reside in Champaign, IL.
